This flexible tape adheres exceptionally well to clean, dry, and dust-free surfaces and allows for quick further processing: The spackling compound can be worked directly into the tape. Thanks to the thin layer thickness, the spackling compound dries very quickly, allowing the treated surfaces to be wallpapered or painted over in a short time. The high-quality fiberglass mesh, combined with the acrylic adhesive, ensures high tear resistance, excellent suitability for rough surfaces, and a permanently stable bond—ideal for professional interior applications.

Key Features

Fiberglass mesh tape specifically designed for interior construction

Ideal for sealing joints in (lightweight) walls

For sealing holes and cracks in ceilings and walls

Easy to apply, flexible fiberglass mesh

Filler can be worked into the tape immediately

Dries quickly with a thin layer of filler; can be painted or wallpapered over promptly

Thickness: 185 µm

Color: white

Adhesive: Acrylate

Backing material: fiberglass mesh

Elongation at break: 5%

Tensile strength: 50 N/cm

Adhesive strength on steel: 0.5 N/cm

Suitable for rough surfaces: very good

Batteries included: no

Batteries required: no

Available in 4 versions:

Dimensions: 25 m x 48 mm

Dimensions: 45 m x 48 mm

Dimensions: 90 m x 48 mm

Dimensions: 45 m x 100 mm

Applications

Masking before applying joint compound to lightweight walls

Sealing holes and cracks in ceilings

Sealing holes and cracks in walls

Interior finishing, renovation, and repair work

Preparing surfaces before wallpapering and painting

Use on rough surfaces indoors

Summary

The tesa Professional 60101 fiberglass mesh tape combines high tear resistance, excellent adhesion to rough surfaces, and exceptionally easy application—ideal for quickly, cleanly, and permanently sealing joints, holes, and cracks in interior finishing projects and preparing surfaces for wallpapering or painting in no time.

For more information, please refer to the data sheets
