It adheres securely even to slightly rough surfaces, making it ideal for most types of facades. Thanks to its UV resistance of up to 2 weeks, the tape can be easily removed without leaving any residue during this period. The natural rubber adhesive allows for reliable application in a temperature range from +5°C to +60°C. In addition to traditional masking tasks, the tape can also be used for bundling, securing, or marking, and offers excellent tear resistance as well as resistance to abrasion, water, and moisture.

Key Features

Backing material: sPVC / PVC film, smooth finish

Adhesive: natural rubber

Colors: white and orange

Available variants: orange, 33 m x 30 mm; orange, 33 m x 50 mm; white, 33 m x 50 mm

Thickness: 130 µm

Adhesive strength on steel: 2 N/cm

Elongation at break: 170%

Tensile strength: 20 N/cm

UV resistance: up to 2 weeks; aging resistance (UV): moderate

Suitable for slightly rough to rough surfaces: very good

Tearability by hand: good, easy to remove: yes

Abrasion resistance: good; water and moisture resistance: good

Removability after 14 days (85°C, 95% r.h.): moderate

Non-fluorescent, not writable

Can also be used for bundling, securing, and marking

Applications

Masking window frames during plastering and facade work

Protecting facade components from dirt and damage

Covering and protecting outdoor surfaces

Application on slightly rough and rough facade surfaces

Bundling, securing, or marking building components and materials

Summary

The tesa Professional 60399 sPVC Standard Smooth Plastering Tape is the reliable professional masking tape for outdoor use: strong adhesion even on rough facades, UV-resistant for up to 2 weeks, easy to tear by hand, and removable without leaving residue—ideal for clean, efficient plastering and facade work with high-quality results.

For more information, please refer to the data sheets
