The Schülke mikrozid® PAA Wipes disinfectant wipes are suitable for disinfecting medical devices and other surfaces. With the unique oxidizing power of peracetic acid, the product offers sporicidal effectiveness in the event of an outbreak. Due to their wide spectrum of effectiveness and short exposure time, the mikrozid® PAA wipes are the ideal disinfectant wipes for use in areas where there is a particularly high risk of the transmission of pathogenic germs. Examples include isolation rooms, operating rooms, intensive care units, the unclean side in the CSSD/endoscopy or neonatology.

Areas of application

Areas close to the patient and areas with frequent hand or skin contact are the focus of the application. The wipes are suitable for the disinfection of semi-critical A and critical A medical devices, provided that the reprocessing recommendations of the respective medical device manufacturer allow disinfection using the wiping method. After disinfection of semi-critical A and critical A medical devices, wiping is necessary. Not suitable for reprocessing semi-critical B and critical B medical devices.

Due to their sporicidal spectrum of activity, the mikrozid® PAA wipes can make a decisive contribution to breaking chains of infection and to prophylactic infection in the case of Clostridium difficile, for example.
