Description

Not every injury requires a rigid cast. Delta-Cast Soft is designed for cases that require functional immobilization but not complete immobilization. The longette provides targeted partial stabilization; the support bandage remains flexible even when applied in multiple layers and always returns to its original shape after being subjected to stress. This is due to the special resin formulation.

The material consists of a special polyester knit with water-repellent polyurethane resin. The cast can be applied without creases, has soft edges and cut edges, and is stable, break-resistant, water-resistant, and breathable. It is removed using ordinary scissors—an oscillating saw is not necessary. X-rays can be taken through the cast.
