Delta-Dry, synthetic padding wadding, waterproof

Delta-Dry, synthetic padding, waterproof

Waterproof padding under synthetic cast bandages—showering, bathing, and swimming are possible.

Description

Until a few years ago, the padding material under the cast was the reason patients couldn’t shower: The cast itself was waterproof, but the padding underneath was not. Delta-Dry solves exactly that—the padding is waterproof, breathable, and washable.

This makes showering, bathing, and even swimming possible while wearing a cast. Water-based rehabilitation activities, such as exercise baths and hydrotherapy, can also be performed without changing the cast. The padding is used under all immobilizing synthetic support casts.

Summary
