Description

The Actimove Carpal immobilizes the wrist and hand in a functional position. Two circular straps with Velcro fasteners secure the wrist, while two non-elastic straps additionally immobilize the fingers. This makes the brace more than just a wrist bandage—it is designed for cases where the fingers also need to be immobilized.

The stabilization splint is housed in a pocket, is removable, and can be individually molded to fit. If necessary, the metacarpal region can also be secured using the included Velcro strap. The open, lightweight design prevents heat buildup; the terry cloth cover with soft padding on the inside makes the splint gentle on the skin.

Summary

In cases of carpal tunnel syndrome and rheumatic flare-ups, immobilization is also necessary at night. The open design of the Actimove Carpal prevents heat buildup, which makes many night splints unbearable.
