Instructions for use and dosage

Apply Softasept® N skin disinfectant undiluted and rub in with a swab. Wet the skin areas to be treated completely and keep them moist for the prescribed exposure time. Allow to dry after exposure time. Blot off excess solution. During preoperative skin disinfection, avoid “puddle formation” under the patient due to possible skin irritation. Before using electrical devices, the preparation must be completely dry on the skin.

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity (allergy) compared to ethanol, 2-propanol or (only stained at Softasept) one of the other components. Softasept® N is not suitable for the antiseptic of mucous membranes and for use in the immediate vicinity of the eyes.

Side effects

Especially with frequent use, skin irritation such as reddening and brenen can occur. Contact allergies are also possible.

Warnings

Flammable. Hold the container tightly closed. Keep away from ignition sources. Do not smoke! Don't spray in open flame! Do not get in eyes. Do not apply to injured skin or on mucous membranes.
