Description

Cutimed Sorbion Sana is a superabsorbent wound dressing for low- to high-exudate wounds. A hydrokinetic fiber matrix with integrated superabsorbents absorbs wound exudate vertically and traps it within the product core. This creates a moist wound environment while reducing the risk of maceration of the wound edges.

The cover has a three-dimensional structure and therefore makes contact with the wound bed at only a few points. This is precisely what matters when the dressing change needs to be atraumatic and minimally painful—for example, in wounds with an uneven healing process, where areas of epithelialization coexist with drier areas, in palliative care, or for patients with heightened pain sensitivity.
