Description

Cutimed Sorbion Sorbact combines two benefits: the active-ingredient-free, bacteria-binding effect of Cutimed Sorbact and the exudate management capabilities of a superabsorbent. Bacteria such as MRSA and VRE, as well as fungi, bind to the DACC-coated surface, are irreversibly trapped, and their growth is inhibited.

This combination is intended for highly exuding wounds that are also at risk of infection—such as infected leg ulcers. The dressing can also be used in compression therapy, which is a prerequisite for treating venous ulcers.
