Description

HydroTac® Border Multisite is a modern foam wound dressing with unique AquaClear Gel technology, specially developed for the treatment of wounds in the granulation and epithelialization phases with low to moderate exudation. The combination of a gas-permeable, fluid- and microbe-impermeable polyurethane outer layer and a moisturizing hydrogel coating ensures active, bifunctional moisture management directly in the wound’s microenvironment. The gel prevents adhesion to the wound and allows for atraumatic dressing changes, while the foam layer effectively absorbs exudate—even under compression. A circumferential, polyacrylate-coated adhesive border with notches ensures optimal adaptation to body contours without the need for a secondary dressing. The waterproof outer layer provides reliable protection against bacteria and external contaminants, making HydroTac® Border Multisite equally suitable for chronic and acute wounds.
